“Three Moods of a Womaman” consists of three sections, each based on poems written in English: Melancholia, Anger and Gluttony.

Melancholia, Anger and Gluttony evoke three psychological states in which The Womaman successively identifies.

First, society’s refusal to accept what s/he intrinsically is plunges him/her into a deep melancholy. Then a jolt, an awakening to freedom, produces a healthy anger that will be transcended by the greed to live and become one’s innate self.

The text plays with words and meaning, sometimes with humor and irony. The question is serious, sometimes tragic, but also requires light-hearted reflection.

The text is also a pretext for the music, which flirts with progressive rock, psychedelic pop, noise, sound poetry and operatic lyricism.

“Three Moods of a Womaman” se compose de trois sections, chacune élaborée à partir de poèmes écrits en anglais, Melancholia, Anger et Gluttony.

Mélancolie, Colère et Gourmandise évoquent trois humeurs, trois états psychologiques dans lesquels se trouve successivement The Womaman.

Tout d’abord, le refus conforté par la société d’accepter ce qu’il elle est intrinsèquement la/le plonge dans une profonde mélancolie. Ensuite un sursaut, un éveil à la liberté produit une saine colère qui sera transcendée par la gourmandise de vivre son état, son être inné ou devenu.

Le texte se joue des mots et du sens. Il n’est pas dénué d’humour ni d’ironie car la question est sérieuse, parfois tragique mais demande aussi qu’on y réfléchisse avec légèreté.

Le texte est aussi prétexte à la musique. Celle-ci flirte avec le rock progressif, la pop psychédélique, la noise, la poésie sonore et le lyrisme opératique.
