…is a folk duo featuring American songs from the 1960’s and 70’s. Marjorie Van Halteren was born in Detroit Michigan and lived through the period in the Motor City, attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (the “Berkeley of the Midwest” ) during the period of protests and revolution. Versatile guitarist Philippe Lenglet lived his youth through this period from the vantage point of France, where he developed the kind of musical and cultural awareness that only keen fandom paired with guitar chops can produce. Together they present an insiders’ take on the music of a generation, including some of your favorites, and some you’ve never heard before.
